At the end of 2013, Mitchell competed in his first full iRacing season, racing in the Grand Am Sports Car Series and won the championship. He immediately went on to race the Daytona 2.4 in the Daytona Prototype in 2014 and won 3 out 3 of the races he competed in.
The very next week Mitchell jumped in to the iRacing Grand Prix Series in an attempt to qualify for his pro road license. Having no previous experience in this series, Mitchell won the championship which earned him his pro license.
Nearing the end of 2014, he competed in the iRacing Road Pro Series, winning 9 out of 10 races. Mitchell earned the maximum possible championship points and wrapped up the championship early.
In 2015, Mitchell advanced to the next big challenge in his sim-racing career and competed in the iRacing.com World Championship Grand Prix Series. He was able to clinch 3 race wins in his Rookie season and finished 5th overall.
